Bash Terminal inside of WordPress

WPTerm by Jerome Bruandet. If you need to get to the command line, but don’t have SSH access, WPTerm will generate a bash terminal right in your WordPress admin. It can’t handle interactive functionality, so no editing files in the terminal. Aside from that, pretty much everything else can be done. So needless you say, you need to be very careful when working in WPTerm. In the words of the author:

Therefore, each time you use WPTerm, please follow this rule of thumb: if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it!

“exec” doesn’t work, most likely due to security settings. Tabbing to auto-complete file names doesn’t work because your browser thinks you’re trying to change your focus.
