Human Cannonball shot into a brick wall

Okay, the title might be a little gruesome sounding, but I want you to think of that image. Don’t go into too much detail, all you need to do is convince yourself that the experience would be most unpleasant.

When search engines send visitors to your site, they are coming in fast. One could say that your visitors are arriving “at the speed of thought.” If the page they land on doesn’t have the information they are looking for, they will feel like they’ve hit a brick wall.

While experiencing none of the physical pain that our poor human cannonball underwent, they are none-the-less not particularly pleased with you and your site. Your job is to make sure that your visitors have as soft and easy of a landing as possible.

Whey they come to your site, are they finding exactly what they want? If not, are you giving them assistance to quickly discover what it is they are looking for? If you can accommodate your high speed visitors, the search engines will award you with more visitors.

Now is the time to figure out if your website is a brick wall or a soft velvety pillow. Either that or hire your favorite website psychiatrist to analyze your website for you.
