Sometimes you find the perfect image… only for it to be way too small. Whether it’s an old photo, a logo, or something you grabbed from a dusty corner of the internet, a good image upscaler can work miracles. I use these enough that we wanted to jot them down for ourselves — but you might find them handy, too.
- ImageUpscaler.com – This one is my heavyweight champ. It can upscale up to 8× and go as big as 16,000 pixels on the longest side. Great for those “I need a poster-sized version of this tiny JPEG” emergencies.
- ILoveIMG – A solid, simple 4× upscaler that’s fast and easy to use. Perfect when you just need a little more size without overthinking it.
- Booltool Image Enhancer – Less about raw size, more about clarity and sharpness. I pull this one out when an image looks like it’s been through three too many screenshots.
- Depositphotos Upscaler – A nice, clean online tool from a big-name stock image site. Quick, and works well for general use.
That’s it — nothing fancy, just a little kit of “image enlargement medicine” for when pixelation strikes.
